Our Program

Our Program

At TimeOut Educare, we are committed to ensuring your child begins their learning development with the brightest possible start.

Our program is based on the The National Early Years Framework and inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach where each child finds identity, belonging, meaning and well-being in themselves, the natural environment, and the world around them.

Play is one of the most important ways in which young children gain essential knowledge and skills. For this reason, play opportunities and environments that promote play, exploration and hands-on learning are at the core of our program.

As children participate in engaging play experiences, they develop interests and construct their own identities and understandings of the world.

Our program conveys the highest expectations for all children’s learning from birth to six years through the transitions to school. TimeOut Educare’s curriculum is ‘emergent’ – we intentionally incorporate your child’s interests into the planned program.

As no two children are the same, our routines continuously evolve in response to their needs. We even exceed the standard curriculum with the inclusion of our specialist enhancement programs.

Specialist Enhancement Programs

Our Kindergarden Program

Our kindergarten program offers all vital transitions to ensure children beginning their learning development feel confident when moving to the next stage of their education. The kindergarten program assists children to become active and engaged learners. The children form their understandings and skills in context of collaboration with peers, learning provisions, play and adults. This involves a higher level of cognitive function such as thinking, communicating, social interaction and problem solving. The effects of which have far reaching benefits for later education and development.

Key learning outcomes stem from our children’s interests and strengths whilst ensuring that linguistic and numeracy skills are also met. Emotional and social wellbeing is a strong focus incorporated within the program that develops active, resilient, kind and confident learner’s as they progress into and through school.
